If It Quacks Like a Duck

This is a Pearl Harbor moment.

He was quiet and polite. He said hello and goodbye, but didn’t get into conversations. He was religious. He went to work. He went home and prayed.

Insidious: (adjective)

1. intended to entrap or beguile: an insidious plan.

2. stealthily treacherous or deceitful: an insidious enemy.

3. operating or proceeding in an inconspicuous or seemingly harmless way but actually with grave effect: an insidious disease.

It’s smart to be quiet. Especially if you are planning on killing people. It’s not a disease. This is not a troubled man with tell-tale signs of mental illness. It’s a man with a plan. One with a commited ideology.

Better get used to the duck’s new quack.
