Desperation, you Dems have finally lost your senses
No more riding on the fences anymore
Socialism, yes, I know you have your reasons
But this thing you think is helping you will hurt you someday

Don't screw with the USA now, we'll beat you if we're able
We know that freedom's always our best bet
Now, it seems that Trump has laid some fine things on the table
But sanity is the one thing you don't get

Desperation, oh, how you pander to the younger
Their angst and their hunger, they're drivin' you left
And you say freedom, "oh, well, that's just white people talkin'"
But this sh*t you're promoting will take us all off a cliff

Won't your butt get cold in the winter time?
When the wind don't blow and the sun don't shine
It'll be hard to tell the night time from the day
When your Green New Deal leaves you freezin'
Ain't so funny when your voters go away

Desperation, why don't you come to your senses?
You're buildin' the wrong fences, opening the wrong gate
You may be crazy', but there's a loving God above you
